out of work...
been out of work now for a few month. being doing the usual sending out cv,s and getting no reply s well i sent off another cv today but this time its to go back on the tools i served my time on HGVs and have worked if a few garages in my time but today i applied to work in a small 4x4 garage thats looking for a mechanic with some offroad experience. but the only thing is that if iam lucky enough to get the job i will have to work on land rovers all day.and me being a frontera man as well .if i get an interview i am leaving my volvo in the drive and taking my truck its insured and that all but its going

Re: out of work...
Just out of curisoty are landrovers not easier to work on than frontera's?
oh and good luck.

Re: out of work...
its easer to get bits for landys thats why a lot of folk like them because the market for after market bits and add ons is huge.
when you start a job on any type of vehicle no matter what it is you always approach them the same way.
as every one has basicly the same engine configuration the internals mostly operate in the same way apart from the wankile
suspensions all do the same thing they go up and down no matter if its hydronewmatic or coil and shock or leaf and shock
basicly under the skin they all look the same just in different ways the only reason i build fronters is there are thousands of land rovers out there and they all look the same but a moded frontera are far and few between

Best of luck mate hope you get it.
And thats true about the frontys you dont see many modified ones going up and down the road.
All there running gear is Izuzu so ther easy to get parts for to if you no where to look.
