disco a-frame ball joint replacement

Post  ando227 on Mon Jun 29, 2009 2:55 am

by god, what a devil of a job! both bolts holding the arms to the fulcrum were totally stuck so required a mixture of heat, grinding, hitting, drilling and make shift puller to remove them.
then a good dose of heat and hammering to remover the balljoint and refit.
Glad to see the back of this little job!

there are some things in life that you can boast you have done! there are other things in life which once experienced should never be repeated!
Curiously, a-frame balljoint replacement falls very neatly into both catergories!
