Winch Bumpers
Im looking to get a winch after seeing how handy everyone's were at whitebridge.
Don't what is good or bad but i like the look of the tubular bumpers and found this one on ebay i phoned the guy and he said to the door (inverness) it would cost £195.00 plus VAT so about £230.00.
is the bumper any good and is the price any good?
Cheers
P.s he said he would discount if i purchased more than one so if anyone is interested let me know

the tube section is 75mm, is that heavy enough? not a clue on the winchs either any recommendation?
Cheers

Re: Winch Bumpers
Price sounds good, the only thing I dont like about that one is the angle it sets the fairlead at. Looks ok with the alloy one for plasma rope though, so I suppose it's down to individual taste.
Re: Winch Bumpers
Mine is a Shadow First Four tubular 'Stand off' bumper. Sits out from the front to make space for the full face intercooler. They also do a close one that you need to cut the grill for. Looks really neat and tidy. Great strong build used by many challenge spec trucks. Expensive at nearly £400 delivered but you get what you pay for.
Winches wise - Mine is a Milemaker H12 Hydraulic (Just to be different!) But I got a Superwinch 10000 on Ebay last month for the Range Rover though. Good money at about £350 and its a good make.
All depends on the budget.....
