Technical Query... Empty Technical Query...

Like the Board very much. Very Happy

What's it run on? Most sites have little name right at the bottom saying this. E.g. vBulletin?; WordPress (for Blogging); etc. cheers

Also other boards usually allow users to list threads in ascending or descending date/time order. I prefer descending order but I can't find the preference switch to change it. Sad

This is a php board i decided to go for this as it was very user freindly and was very popular with other forums the board is free but have had to buy more space and the new domain name. The old address was a bit of a mouth full and not easy for people to remember.

As for the ascending or descending date/time order i will look into that for you so you can have this option would anyone else like to have this option ?

I have been looking into it and it would have to be changed for everyone there is no option for the individual member to change it.

If you would prefer the forum this way i can change it what do you all think ?

It would save you trawling through all the posts to get to the new message.

Personally, I prefer it the way it is. It's easier to read a post from the top down, and if you're watching a subject, clicking the little yellow tab beside the topic heading takes you straight to the first unread post anyway.

Thanks for the investigative work Idea

Don't go changing the board for my little quirks!!!!

I think PHP is more of a programming language than just a tool. Probably people make the option I was talking of by coding it. Don't ask me how... confused

I didn't know about what Roz posted - I'll try it.

Thanks for looking into it.
