I thought the Es9000 had a metal sleeve rather than a gaiter covering the piston? Also I was told not to use the gaiter as it traps moisture and dirt and basically makes a grinding paste, were as without them water and dirt comes and goes freely with an accasional coating of WD40

Its sitting on a 2" lift beamarch springs and procomp shockers yes you are right abbout the sleeves they do trap the crap there a drain hole in the rubber.

The original shockers had metal sleeves but they have been long since dumped.

Body will now get lifted by 2" then my 33x12.5x15 tyres will go on then i may put another 2" suspension lift on her but thats a thought for much later on.
