have put my 2.8 fronty up for possible sale but if i could get
help with the head gasket i would keep it, im not very mechanicly
minded when it comes to engines and a head gasket is way out
of my league.

hi steve, not 100% sure its gone, no oil in water doesnt white smoke
no water in oil,its just pressureizing in header tank and it looks like
it got fairy liquid in it very frothy, the guy i bought it off said he had
a rad leak and put aload of radweld in it, what i really need is someone
to have a look first just to make sure hope this helps,
ash.

Sounds like it could have been heated head would need to be skimed and perssure tested to be on the safe side.
Re: need help?
My land cruiser developed a similar problem shortly after I got it. Turned out to be that the previous owner hadn't serviced it the whole time he had it covering high miles over a good few years. Sneaky begger had taken the thermostat out to hide it for a while. Engine was just jammed full of thick awfull oil I spent a while pulling out in lumbs/ handfulls....
need help?
yep i dont know when the guy last serviced mine, been told
to put soda crystals in and leave it for 24hrs then give it a
good flush out and if there is any s--t in the rad or water channels
this stuff will clear it out.
