Re: surf mot
No, did even get started, jumped in started her up roared up the A9 went into the garage. Met by a growl then the wee apprentice came in and asked what it ran on, told them diesel and veg oil, got the answer off "uh . . .er . . Ok". Next Ross himself came through and asked me to come out to the vehicle opened the back door and said couldn't do MOT as they needed acces to the seat mounts, to which I responded no bother I will just through the stuff in the boot (hand axe, dog bowl couple empty juice bottle big bottle water and a couple other bits of litter) to which I was told no not doing it take it away and sort it.
So truck is now gleaming even hoovered and is going back on friday.
They had a lot of work in so my theory is they wanted to get there own work done rather than having to do a MOT.
Problem is so many places won't do diesel/veg vehicles as they say it brakes there machine, went to VOSA about it for my first MOT and they said the official line is they cannot force a garage to do a test if they suspect there equipment will be damaged during the process.

That's bad they could have said they were to busy and just asked you to come back later i don't think they have to lift carpets for a mot surly giving the seats a good shake would tell how good the mounts are

Re: surf mot
Thats the stupid thing they don't need to lift/pull away the carpets it is just so they could see them which they could , well asides from the one with the dog bowl next to it but that is obviously too much effort to push out the way. so it will be interesting to see if they nit pick anything on friday just to fail it or wheather they will be glad to see the back of it.
Re: surf mot
Well thats the surf away for its MOT tomorow first thing tomorow, even hoovered it so there can be no complaints.
But I think it will fail anyway on the anti roll bars as the truck seemed to be rolling abit too much on the corners, but it might just be the fact of being used to the stiffness of the Landy.
I will know tomorow morning either way.

Jobs are few and far between got one or 2 interviews but not hopeful but getting odd jobs from mates and family to keep me going just now so can't complain too much
