mind made up

Well have made my mind up my fronty is going down to a garage near me
on monday night,firstly ive got the mechanic to give it the once over i.e
to see if it needs anything else doing to it,if not much then raid piggy
bank and get everything done.

Is this to get the head done? could get pricey if your asking asking a mechanic during a reccesion do my car need anything.

Did anyone else hear a till ring?

Just be on your toes on what needs done.

only option really as i know bugger all about engines will do
other jobs myself not unless anybody else can give us a hand?
am a good helper but engines are out of my league.

well just got back from mechanics, bad news headgasket is on its
way out,rear prop uj joint u/s,1 rear coil spring u/s,both front drop
link ball joints worn and bottom ball joints worn,front shock u/s, and
some other minor faults so it has got to go can afford parts just but
labour charges would just be too much

Is time a factor?

If not then a decent toolbox and most of that is do able at home I would have thought? especially if you can afford all the parts.

too bigger jobs for me to do sadly.

ach well when needs must then, hope you get a decnt price for it.

What reg is it and how much are you needing for it Ash ?

Hi Steve its P reg 1996 so long as i get what i paid for it
£300 and i will throw in the head gasket,its got a good set of tyres
chrome side steps, if i get more for it that will be a bonus.

mot till mid sept 09 no tax.

if nobody is interested its going on ebay
spares or repair.
