I can only comment on my own personal experience of these tyres, as I know some people like them.... however, My brother in law had a set on a defender 110, which was one of the models fitted with both traction control and a centre diff lock, there was no reason for it to be anything but fantastic off road.
It was useless on the G90 tyres. I was running my Hilux at the time with the standard road pattern dunlops it came with, and was getting everywhere I needed to go on a pheasant shoot, but he couldn't follow me. We even swapped vehicles to see if we could make anything of it, and it just wasn't happening.

Luckily they wear out quickly, so after just 15,000 miles he replaced them with BFGoodrich MT's and suddenly it was me that couldn't keep up, even once I changed to BFG's too.
I'd never buy a set.
