Progress Report
After the 2.25 petrol let me down one to many time when going through water I decided to get myself a sensible diesel engine.
For an easy swap over went for a 200TDi (removed turbo as Series gearbox cant handle the sudden power when the turbo kicks in)
After a bit of grunting and groaning and help from a mate (Richi Foss) the engine was in, with a new clutch and timing belt.
It was then wired and plumbed by Jon McGhee, many thanks.
During this I thought it was time to play with the exhaust again so with thanks again to Richi Foss He fabricated a new unique stainless steel exhaust system for me.
Also while there was such good access to inner wings decided to repair the ally corrosion.
So the donkey is now sitting in this state waiting for a few finishing touches and a new MOT.
