SCOTTISH LAND ROVER SHOW???????????????????????

Yeah you read the tittle correct, we have decided its time to see about maybe having a land rover show in scotland!! We are just judging interest at the moment so thought we would see what everyones thoughts were. Have already started contacting the big players and initial response is positive. The event would probably be next year but its alot of planning so thats why starting early. As for location we have put the feelers out around Loch Lomand as this is an added bonus to the people from south as a little holiday but we have a few ideas so will see what works out best. Anyway you can comment on here or lcs-engineering Scotland facebook page or email me direct. Look Forward to all your thoughts sure there will be lots!!!!!!!

About time shows like this crossed the border, would defo come to it and and I can think of quite a few others that would as well.

Yes a great idea but a difficult one ! Would need to be central belt location have an area big enough for show plus camping , have adquate toilets showers etc An of course you are competing with the establised shows the closest to us is LRO show at Driffield in May a very good show if you haven,t been to it ,it would be well worth going to, to pinch some ideas lol

yeah it's going to be hard but been getting lots of info from some of the people in the know they been giving me all the contacts to get intouch with. Hopefully make that show this year so will be pinching lots of ideas!!! We have had alot of ideas about location i was thinking that Loch Lomond would be a good but the location will depend on the feedback i get from the big companies about there travelling

Well im suprised theres not more interest than this??!! we getting lots of feedback from companies but have told them started the buzz to see what interest is like if it keeps going like this then they just wont come so come on guys start throwing ideas and opinions at me. cheers

There will be more feedback from here, the forum has been quiet of late but it's picking up a bit more now.

Yes, definately a good idea for a show in Scotland, I for one was dissapointed when the proposed show at knockhill was abandoned.

yeah i was too, thats why trying to do something about it. BUT if interest doesnt pick up on the forums then might not even be worth trying really am shocked at the lack of interest!! I know some of the companies are keeping an eye on the interest.

It's a good idea to get a show northward, ther has been little traffic on this forum for a while, have youy tryed posting this on LRO to gain access to a wider public, seem to be alot of Scots who dont know of this forum but use the other
