handbrake cable

Guys is this an easy job to do ? my cable has gone on my landrover 90 truckcab , was told it was a fairly straight forward job

I've never actually done it to be honest, but I have been in about the handbrake drum on mine and it does look pretty straight forward.
You'll need to take off the rear prop shaft to get the drum off, and if you need to free off the mechanism, be careful nothing falls out.. there are a couple of little rollers that slide a tapered bar (very stupid design!) that can just drop out.
