Installing a CB in a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

Hi guys,

Anybody got an idea as to the best place to install a CB radio in a Grand Cherokee Limited, 2000 model?

Don't know if it is the same with all vehicles but I have always heard that the roof is the best as it gives you the best ground plane, which I have no idea what it is but sounds important.

I suppose it all depends how your mounting it perm or temp?

Permanent installation. Sounds like I would need to go and get it done professionally, not a home job.

I think it is quite an easy job to do yourself, all you need is a SWR to check the output/receive signal so that you don't fry the radio but it is quite striaght forward.
