Jeep Parts Disgrace

I have scoured the internet, phoned ALL the jeep dealerships in the UK, pulled out every last hair left on my scalp, and am now busy enjoying my fifth nervous breakdown all because the high pressure pipe for the power steering on my jeep has to be imported from the USA?!?!? How on earth, in this day and age, can the UK Jeep dealerships not be able to supply a part? They are a total disgrace to the Jeep name and are not worthy!!!!! Shame on all Jeep dealerships in the UK!!


My rant is now over. Back to my calming bottle of tequila.

Could you not just a new one made?

I had to get a longer high pressure steering pipe to fit my 90 when I fitted the discovery engine, I also needed longer oil cooler pipes.
I went to Macgregors industrial supplies (hydraulic hose department) in Inverness with all the old pipes, which they simply cut the ends off and fitted new high pressure hose to the appropriate length.

It all works perfectly, and cost a grand total of £15. Yep, fifteen quid!

Gonna let the mechanic know about that one!

There is company in cambuslang called pri-tek that do hose`s i got my fuel pipe from them the do light to industrial

Thanks for all the info guys. Unfortunately, once the parts have been ordered from Jeep in America the order cannot be cancelled on their systems without incurring a heafty cancellation charge! Just another reason why I am so disgusted at them!
