Re: Wide bore exhaust
Well got the exhaust fitted today and it has had all the desired effects bettle throttle response and makes the landie sound a bit beefier, still no match for the rumble of a V8 but will do for now. But the throttle response was the main aim and it is excellent.

Unfortunatly not the route I was planning to take was too tight, the exhaust would have been too close to my clutch pipe (almost touching) didn't fancy boiling my clutch fluid on a daily basis, so it still runs under the gearbox x-member then heads straight out the back through the PTO holes in the other cross members.
Re: Wide bore exhaust
Wel done mate cant wait to hear it prob if you start her up now and give her a rev i could hear it from my house

Re: Wide bore exhaust
mine comes out at waist height behind the rear wheel, does have a middle silencer, removed the rear one and soon to be the middle one, passed the mot fine, its not noisy because of the turbo.

Re: Wide bore exhaust
Thanks peeps straight through it is, next question is how much clearance do you need before having to go down the lines of heat shelding 1"-2"?
because i have tank at the back looking to bring it out elseware but i might be a bit tight

Re: Wide bore exhaust
I have no heat sheilding on mine, will try and find pics.
Your route will probably differ slightly to mine as I was able to go through the PTO holes.
