Stolen
Never would believe this could ever happen here, but yesterday we had a vehicle stolen from work.
I'm pretty sure it's been taken by a hill walker that looked to be struggling on his feet earlier in the day, and was walking in the direction of our agricultural shed, where the vehicle was parked.
It's a Toyota Hilux reg SX55 DHL, Dark green with a white Truckman canopy, and a full set of BF Goodrich mud terrains (the new pattern).
The incredible thing is, he took it from the barn (it had the keys in it) but had to drive past my house, the lodge beside my house and all the builders that are currently working there. The road was blocked by a forklift so he turned and used another exit. Bear in mind this is all 6 miles up a private track from any public road.
He was spotted by 3 different people that realised it wasn't the usual driver behind the wheel, but as with the nature of these things, nobody really thought anything of it as different people do use our vehicles depending what we're doing at work.
It was last seen at 12.20 in the afternoon heading out towards the A9.
We have since found out that the thief drove off from a filling station in Stirling without paying for the £50 worth of diesel he'd just put in......... it could be anywhere in the country by now, if it's not already in a shipping container or breakers yard.
Should anyone see it, please inform the police.
Thanks all.

Re: Stolen
It's been found!
Got a text last night to say it had turned up in Norfolk (!) but don't have any more details yet.
It'll be a bonus if it's complete and undamaged!

Re: Stolen
Yet to find out if it's still on it's proper plates, but if it is, it's a bit of a fail on the ANPR cameras!
Re: Stolen
Looks like it's all complete and undamaged, personal posessions gone from it, but otherwiswe all good.
Now trying to make arrangements to get it back.
