my new tyres arrived today at 7.30am insa turbo special tracks 265/75/16 me happy now
i managed to change one over on to one of my steel rims just to see if looked ok and it dose
so its new QT radius arms and new front suspension and a 2"lift, cut back the front arches and its ready to get painted and i will mot it on Monday and tax it then its bring on the mud o yes i cant wait
new photos tomorrow
i am bidding on a disco snorkel on ebay so if i get it i will fit it on as well but if not i will just fit my old fonty one

i got out in the yard today just to see that every thing is working as it should



still have to checker plate the doors and front wing finish off a front wheel arch and rebuild my inner wings
then i will get it painted






i am planning on taking it over to newton hill 4x4 site next sunday just to make sure its all ok but this depends on if i can get the works 110 and trailer to get there and back .

My build is back on track as i have my merck sorted now so its all steam ahead and it will be finished by the end of the weekend well MOT,d anyway then its just paint.One of the customers at work said he had a set of offset steal wheels i could have and a set of wheel spats for a 3 door disco for £40 so i will fit them just as soon as he shows up with them I am painting it what i call loud camouflage bright orange ,yellow,bright green done in a camo pattern

this one is ready to go for mot. never had a chance to take it as i was getting the works 300tdi finished first
i still dont have it painted but its looking ok.not happy with my wheels as thay are the wrong offset for my tyres so i might turn the centre on the rims so the off set is out instead of in.or might just buy a new set if i can get ones with a larger off set

quick update.disco waiting on new wheels 10x16 mods, still not painted yet,defender front bumper fitted on rear,cut stretched and rounded to fit under rear quarter panels and over the rear chassis look good photos at week end,new rear body mounts welded in ,chassis and floor under sealed front steering guard fitted tank guard still needing work but finished and fitted soon .

new wheels arrive on Monday all 5 of them black modular 16x8.
